Set up "fan paths" on foot and/or by bike to the sports venues. These could, for example, be labelled as a "red carpet" or be based on the participating nations/sports. This could, for example, be a main route from the city centre/train station to the sports venues and public viewing. When choosing a location for public viewing, the following should be taken into account: good accessibility on foot, by bike and by public transport. The signposting should be easy to understand and also communicated via the app.

Design the fan routes attractively (with food/drinks, entertainment, culture, information, etc.).

If possible, take this into account in the routing: Places of interest, attractive routes in "green" areas (parks), safe routes (no streets or clear demarcation from streets), attractive neighbourhoods (culture, entertainment), climate adaptation (shading).

Special trains can also be useful for fans/visitors (e.g. when travelling to/from the venue the day before or after a single event).

Offers of attractive, cross-border special tickets for international travel and extensive communication are necessary.

Build up the vehicle fleet – as far as possible – from efficient e-vehicles. Examples are cars, minibuses, exclusively battery electric vehicles (BEV), e.g. up to 17 kWh/100 km or vehicle class A of the new car label). The number of vehicles in general should be kept to a minimum. If vehicles are not available as electric vehicles (e.g. snow groomers), the most fuel-efficient vehicles possible are used.

Make sure that the sports facilities are accessible via safe cycle paths. Create new or improve existing cycle paths to all sports facilities via short-term (pop-up) and/or permanent bike paths. Coordinate with the cycle path concept of the respective host city/region.
